The Foundation is governed by a board of volunteer trustees, representing local business, health care, education and the community.
Each member is appointed by the Queensland Governor in Council in conjunction with the Minister for Health. Two members of the board are Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) employees.
The Foundation CEO is accountable to the board of trustees and the Foundation team report to the Foundation CEO.

Kim Sutton, Foundation Chief Executive Officer, has led sucessful charities in the UK and Australia since 2001. She has a wealth of experience in charity strategy, management and income generation – both philanthropic and commercial income.
Kim has a real passion for working with the community to develop strong partnerships and she looks forward to the Foundation becoming more involved in the Gold Coast community.
Interesting fact – Kim is passionate about health and ran her own yoga business in the UK for eight years before moving back to Australia in 2011.
