Peter Dirkx

Major Donor and Partnerships Manager

Peter joined the GCHF in March 2025 as Major Donor and Partnerships Manager. Peter is no stranger to the GCHF and brings a deep understanding of our work, having been involved with the foundation for the past 10 years in various capacities. He has also played a key role in one of our most successful long-term partnerships, and brings valuable insights in fostering strong, meaningful and successful donor & partner relationships.

Peter is a Gold Coast local of more than 22 years with a fundraising background in the disability, arts and education sectors, as well as well as many years’ experience serving as a Director & Chairman of a Gold Coast Social Enterprise. He has more than 25 years’ experience in management roles in the finance and banking sector and holds community engagement and giving back close to his heart.

Away from work, Peter is a family man with 5 children, plays golf, loves reading autobiographies and building Lego with his family. His other great passion is music and is a drummer with a Gold Coast based covers band who play shows all over the GC and beyond.
